Captain Credit

If you've checked your credit score on Captain Credit or compared mortgage offers, there's a good chance my work has met you. I'm privileged to play a significant part in designing the user experience of the brand's app and digital products.

The need

Captain Credit connects people with their personal financial information. The challenge is to turn complex financial data into clear, accessible information, helping users understand their credit score and find their way through loans, mortgages and credit cards.

My work

I followed Captain Credit from its very first days. The idea of taking something as complex as a credit score and turning it into something anyone can understand and act on always intrigued me. When the chance came to join the team, I was glad to take part.

One thing I especially value in this project is working with the product manager, who has guided the app from the start. Her deep knowledge of the users, the decisions and the vision behind the product makes our work together interesting and precise.

As part of my work I help plan the user experience and design the interfaces of the app and the products around it, including the marketplace for comparing credit offers.

Together with the product team we analyse needs, plan user flows and design experiences that link financial information, an understanding of the options and the ability to act on them. All while keeping a consistent design language in a product that keeps growing.
