La Belle Cosmetics holds a special place for me. 20 years of blessed work together that only keeps growing, from the first logo to an app that connects the whole business. Along the way we became family.

The need

After 20 years of working together, I know the people behind La Belle Cosmetics and the needs of the business up close. In our conversations we think about the next step, alongside what needs improving today: how to help customers find the right product, give the team tools for better service and make daily work easier.

The trust we've built lets us talk openly, ask questions and suggest new directions. Knowing the business gives every design decision context, beyond what you see on screen. When we build something new, we also think about the people already used to working with it and how to help them move forward.

Over the years these ideas became websites, operations systems and an app. At every stage the technology changed and the needs grew, and the personal connection stayed the foundation of the work: understanding what matters to people, taking responsibility and building something together that will serve them for years.

My work

I met the people of La Belle Cosmetics while I was still a soldier, at the very start of my path. We sat together around a table and created the company's first logo. From there we went on to build the brand line, design the first printed catalogue and more printed materials. Then came the first website, built in classic ASP, for the dinosaurs among us :) Since then I have designed and built five generations of websites, along with operations systems that grew with the business. Each generation built on what we learned in the last and on the new needs we met along the way.

The app that connects it all

The cherry on top of this story is the app we built after years of knowing the brand, the business and its needs. It serves customers, staff and drivers, and connects the systems built over the years.

For me, it's a special moment: seeing everything we built together come together in one product, in the hands of the people who use it. From the beautician who meets La Belle Cosmetics in her work to the team running the business behind the scenes.
